Wake Up, Girls! Project connecting the two-dimensional and three-dimensional realms.

Single-dimensional producing and business development for original anime development,
animation production and supervisory work, recruiting and training seven main voice actors,
and local PR on stage in Sendai. With "Hyperlink" as the slogan, the project was expanded into the two-dimensional (anime) and three-dimensional (real-life) realms.
Production of the anime sequel for theatrical release in 2015 is planned.

Wake Up, Girls project announced with Director Hiroshi Yamamoto, writer Doko Mochida, and musician Satoru Kōsaki!

The seven voice actors who passed the audition were announced! The seven voice actors were introduced as being recruited from the general public with no affiliation with any production company. Wake Up, Girls! was formed as a voice actor group comprising the seven finalists of the "avex×81produce Wake Up, Girls! AUDITION 2nd Anison Vocal Audition."


    Theatrical release & TV broadcast started!

    At MOVIX Sendai, greetings were given on the first day. Since the anime is set in Sendai, MOVIX Sendai was decorated in the Wake Up, Girls! theme. The city of Sendai has proclaimed it as "Sendai Cinema," a first for anime.


      First overseas tour (Chicago, USA).

      Wake Up, Girls! appeared as a main guest at the ceremony of Anime Central, a major anime event in Chicago. A panel discussion and autograph session were held to deepen exchanges with local fans.


        First live performance tour: "Wake Up, Girls! 1st LIVE TOUR—Sorry for being amateurish!"

        Total of 5,000 attended the six shows in Tokyo, Osaka, and Sendai. In 2015, 2nd Live Tour"Ittari kitarishite Gomenne!" will also be held in four cities in Japan.


          "Wake Up, Girls! Festa 2014 Winter—Wake Up, Girls! VS I-1 Club" held at Makuhari Messe.

          It was their first collaboration with rival anime idol unit I-1Club. Some 5,000 fervent fans showed up. Plans for a theatrical sequel were also announced.


            Wake Up, Girls! received the 9th Voice Actor Award's Special Prize for touring areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and for supporting recovery activities.


            "WUG LOVE," the official fan club of Wake Up, Girls!, is established.


            A theatrical sequel is released.

            *Many collaborative activities within the local community were also held such as night games with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in 2014 and 2015.
